Mike spent 10 years managing the juniors at AFC Monton and recently 3 years at Winton Wanderers juniors.
Mike was asked how it feels getting back into football with so many of the current squad he know oh so well with them having played for him for many years at AFC Monton.
“Looking forward to getting involved with Jolly Carter FC. Possible that a few of you may already know me or will have seen me staggering around the pub on the odd occasion.
I know a few of the players having coached them from u7 to u16 so will be great to work with them again. Also look forward to meeting the players that I don’t know.
Main reason for getting involved is curiosity, often wondered if open age players will ignore me as much the youngsters do
